The SuperNorva explosion
This Virginia concert hall is truly a dream come true for those music worshippers who expect nothing less than a perfect and unforgettable experience. It has a state-of-the-art V-DOSC sound system, only the fifth installed in the country, the second on the East Coast, meaning that the sound system is simply outstanding. The Norva concert venue has a 36x24x4.5 ft. stage with 30’ of clearance for hanging sound and light systems. To accompany all this, there are several video screens and monitors all over the venue, so it is practically impossible to miss any action on the stage, wherever you sit.

 

The Norva is a general admission venue with no fixed seating. On both the first and second floors you will find a number of chairs and tables. The seating rule: first-come, first-served.

The jewel of Virginia
Since its opening in 1970, this architectural jewel in Virginia, has been hosting  a variety of events including concerts, family events such as Ringling Circus and Disney on Ice, sporting events like Monster Jam, World Championship ICE Racing, WWE, to name just a few. Over 1,5 million people have seen some of the arena  spectacles.

This grandiose venue has had the honor of being chosen as a filming location for a part of Elvis’ 1972 concert, for the  Elvis on Tour documentary. Several notable live albums have been also recorded here such as Formerly the Warlocks by the Grateful Dead, Hampton Coliseum (Live 1981) by the Rolling Stones, Hampton Comes Alive, by Phish, and Live Trax Volume 7, by the Dave Matthews Band.

This 27-year old, 10,000-seat Virginia venue, has received excellent remarks so far. Recently renovated Patriot Center welcomes the visitors with new concession stands, new bathrooms, a new box office and a new facade for the concourse and entrances.
